As part of the nonprofit Cool OC, we’ve been working since 2022 to bring climate education and practical solutions to Orange County to start implementing small changes that make a big difference. Inspired by the UN Environment Programme’s call to cultivate “cool cities” that mitigate the impacts of climate change, our organization has been committed to supporting local cities towards carbon neutrality. Whether through composting workshops, energy-saving tips, or climate readiness in extreme climate events, we focus on engaging residents in meaningful ways to achieve measurable carbon reductions in their environmental impact and promote equity. We prioritize support for underserved communities, ensuring every household can access resources that make a difference!
