EARTH DAY 2023 WITH IRVINE AT QUAIL HILL
Saturday, April 15, 11 a.m. - 2 p.m.
Visit Cool Blocks at Quail Hill Community Center
(39 Shady Canyon Drive). Enjoy guided hikes, a compost demo, interactive activities offered by the City of Irvine and partner agencies.
- Guided hikes with Irvine Ranch Conservancy at 11:30 a.m. and 1 p.m. Registration is required on-site, limited space available.
- Compost demo at noon.
Energy Efficiency Workshop
We have partnered with several organizations to bring you this electrification workshop
with Sean Armstrong, energy efficiency expert.
Cool Irvine Expo
Fourth Cohort Training - September 2022
We have already trained over 60 Block Leader volunteers working with over 164 households since launching this program in January 2022. Joins us today to be a part of a fun, inclusive and sustainable experience to help our city reach its Moonshot goal of becoming Carbon Neutral by 2030.The training will be held via zoom for a duration of 3 hours. A total of six training sessions will be offered in 2022, with a new cohort starting every 2 months.

SWITCH IS ON
Ambassador Program
The City of Irvine is proud to partner with the SWITCH IS ON program - a statewide initiative promoting consumer education on electrification and helping residents find vetted contractors and access shortcuts to incentive programs and rebates.
SIO also offers an ambassador program for those who have already begun their electrification journey, equipping them with resources and training to champion the electrification movement with their neighborhood.
