    Patty Oh

    Executive Director

From seasoned business professional to passionate environmental advocate, Patty Oh leads Cool OC with a mission to educate and inspire communities to combat climate change and embrace sustainable living. With over 20 years of experience in sales, marketing, and brand management—including six years as Sales and Brand Director for a Harley-Davidson licensee—Patty transitioned to community activism in 2016, bringing her strategic expertise to the nonprofit sector.

In 2019, she co-founded Asian Americans in Action to engage the API community in local politics and advocate for progressive policies. A trained Climate Reality Leader and Vice Chair of the OC Chapter of the Climate Reality Project, Patty has championed climate action plans, community choice energy, and public education.

In 2022, she spearheaded the Cool Irvine pilot program, training neighborhood block leaders to promote sustainability and disaster preparedness. This program’s success inspired the launch of Cool OC, expanding these efforts across Orange County to create resilient, eco-conscious communities.

As one of the few AAPI leaders in the environmental nonprofit sector, Patty is dedicated to prioritizing disadvantaged communities, empowering individuals to make impactful decisions, and driving equitable solutions to the climate crisis. She also focuses on equipping underserved neighborhoods with the resources and education needed to boost climate readiness and resilience, ensuring no community is left behind in the transition to a sustainable future.
