We are partnering with Irvine Ranch Water District (IRWD) to help you conserve water and save on your bill! Learn how to check for leaks in your home, indoors and outdoors, and get ready for the fall planting season from IRWD's experts!
Two residents will share about their turn removal project and how they used the great incentives available out there to save money and transform their lawn to a water-friendly landscape.When: Saturday, Sept. 21, 10-11:30 a.m.

Irvine's Open Streets Event
Join us to celebrate community, connection, and clean air through its first-ever car-free open streets event! Look for Cool Irvine on the Woodbridge side of the route.
Everyone is invited to stroll, bike, and roll along nearly 2 miles of streets closed to cars along Barranca Parkway and Harvard Avenue. Be sure to stop by the Cool Irvine Booth!

Cool Irvine/OC Spring Social & Vegan Cook-off
Join us for this fun community event with delicious plant-based appetizers! Our spring social and vegan cook-off is the perfect opportunity to indulge in mouthwatering plant-based dishes while learning about the Cool Irvine/Cool OC program, animal agriculture's impact on the environment and how incorporating more plant based dishes could be good for your health! Special guest Dr. Colin Zhu, The Chef Doc will be there to answer questions about plant-based diets.
If you would like to enter the vegan cook-off for a chance to win a $50 giftcard, bring your best plant-based dish with a list of ingredients. One runner up will also win a $25 giftcard. If the contest is not for you, feel free to bring your favorite vegan dish or snack to share with others. Whether you're a seasoned vegan chef or simply curious about plant-based cuisine, this cook-off is a chance to showcase your culinary skills or savor the creative dishes prepared by others.
